After the incident occurred in Ciel Phantomhive's manor, Arthur Conan Doyle returned to write and found himself out of ideas. His editor was suggesting him to write childrens' fables considering he always write about historical story. But thinking of not fitting Ciel's taste on reading, he caught himself wondering until he caught himself fall asleep.
When he woke up, he found himself in the seashore and encountered Grell Sutcliff, as a mermaid princess, who was searching for their prince. Grell shared their story about being the youngest and most attractive mermaid. One day he saw the prince and fell in love at the first sight so he is eager to meet him. He met Undertaker, as the Sea Witch, for the negotiation to trade with his voice because Grell is noisy as he stated and suggested to gave him best laugh instead. While Arthur was caught up wondering, Grell pointed that William T. Spears is The Prince that he had been looking for. While William was standing mightily accompanied with his guard, Ronald Knox, Grell excitedly drooling over without realizing that he strangled Arthur, and he transited to another dream.
This time, Arthur found himself in the forest encountered with Charles Grey and Charles Phipps who introduced themselves as The Hunters who protect the forest area. Phipps warned Arthur that there are dangerous wolves so he shouldn't wandering around, Until he got interrupted by Ciel, the Little Red Riding Hood, who was also accompanied by Sebastian Michaelis, the wolf. Their appearance made Arthur surprised when they are currently in a mission sending a food to Queen Victoria The Grandmother. Phipps narrated that Ciel had experience on taming the wolves that had been threatening the village and adding how his red hood was originally dyed from the blood of the wolves he had killed, which Ciel later shoved his rumors. Sebastian gave a sarcasm confirmation that he is very tame compared to Double Charles as The Hunters as long as he and Ciel still tied with the contract. On the moment when Ciel and Sebastian left them, Arthur was trying to stop them however he found himself fell on the cliff and lost his consciousness once again.
Arthur dreams transited to other fairy tales. From Lau, as the Prince, who finally found Sieglinde Sullivan, as Cinderella, to Joker, as Captain Hook, the pirate who lost his hand because of the crocodile and has to deal with Peter, as Peter Pan, and to other story of Joanne Harcourt, as Snow White, who fears being kissed by Aleistor Chamber and all the P4 and the fags as the seven dwarves waiting him to wake up, onto the next dream of Soma Asman Kadar as the aladdin requested Agni the Genie to grant his wish.
After those moment, Arthur got woken up by Elizabeth Midford who concerned of him not sleeping on the snow ground. She told Arthur that the Ice King had been living in the castle and she tried to save his childhood friend, and Arthur offered himself to be her help. Lizzy shared her gratitude, shared about her childhood friend used to be a cute and sweet. However until her friend got stabbed both in his eyes and heart, he become a cold boy who cannot trust anyone. Lizzy believed that he got kidnapped by The Ice King so she is trying to get her friend back, until Sebastian appeared in front of them and commented of Lizzy's opinion him being a bad guy since his victim basically came to him by his own will. Soon, Ciel came confirmed about it later much to both Lizzy and Arthur surprise and asking him to came back home but Ciel stated that his heart has been frozen and his eyes already belonged to devil that he wouldn't able to come back. Arthur insisted that Ciel shouldn't give up with his decision considering he is still a young kid but his word only became void for Ciel as he said goodbye to both of them.On the moment when Sebastian declare Lizzy and Arthur to go home, Sebastian also suggested Arthur should not to consider writing the kind of tale that he had been witnessed today. He stated that Arthur is suited writing cynical and smart with addicting elements as for example is the adventure of protagonist who is able to have detective skills, and commented how Ciel also waiting in anticipation of his writing so he shouldn't waste time or else he wouldn't meet his deadline as Sebastian reverted himself back to be butler again.
In the end, Arthur finally gained consciousness and found his failed manuscript got tainted with ink. Despite being upset, Arthur decided to throw out his manuscript and continued writing on his paper with starting the name of Sherlock Holmes.
