What is a spoiler?

For a general overview, you can read Wikipedia's spoiler page, but the basic idea is that a spoiler is any information revealed preemptively about the manga or anime that spoils the plot, characters, or other currently unknown information for others.

When does it stop being a spoiler?

Until an official fanscan has been released by Black Asylum, any information about the manga is considered a spoiler. Until they release the official scan, posting any information about the chapter in question is not permitted. All edits regarding it will be reverted and the perpetrator will be allowed only one warning before being blocked.

A good clue is that if you can't find the English version of the chapter on mangareader.net, then posting information about the chapter in question would be a spoiler.

For the anime, if you cannot easily find an English-subbed version on free video-posting sites, such as YouTube, stream-anime.org, etc., then posting information about the episode would be a spoiler.

To be perfectly clear: this includes, but is not limited to, edits to character, chapter, episode, talk, forum and user pages. If, at any point, anyone could accidentally stumble across a spoiler, then don't post it. It's that simple. It only takes Black Asylum about five days to get out the English scanlations, so be patient!

When can I make edits about the episode/chapter then?

As soon as the chapter is online, you can add information about it. This means that you can see the full chapter, with pictures and text, and not just a script and not just a raw version. This also means that the chapter is available in English. It's nice that you might be bilingual, but others aren't, and to post information you found in another language on an English wikia is still considered a spoiler.

The same applies for the anime - as soon as you can easily find multiple copies of the episode with English subs, then you can post information. Put it this way - if you can provide a link to a free site so other English speakers can easily view the episode themselves, then you are permitted to make edits to pages with that information.

Failing to respect this policy

All edits regarding the episode or chapter in question will be undone. The user(s) in question will be warned through a message on their talk page and/or a clear message in the page's history where they posted the spoiler that spoilers should be avoided. Either counts as sufficient warning.

If the users continue to post spoilers, then they will be blocked, even if they think the spoilers are "minor" or if they are unaware of this policy. You are expected to be familiar with this policy and you are expected to understand that people do not appreciate being spoilered about even "minor" details.

Additionally, continuous edits on pages revealing spoilers may result in the page being protected until the chapter/episode is out.
