Trancy is the name of an influential noble family. The head of the household has the rightful position of being the Earl/Count. The head also takes up a responsibility of being the "Queen's Spider", a role which is similar to the position Ciel Phantomhive holds as the "Queen's Watchdog".^[1]

Overview

Traditionally, it is known that the Queen's Spider takes on the role of destroying all her distresses, which have been sent by the Phantomhives into the "darkness". This means that they are also a secret executive agency controlled by the Queen though their interactions with the underworld and the tasks they carry out are unknown.^[2]

According to the records, the Spider either erased people's pasts or replaced them with false ones to cover up the crimes.^[2]

The only one time where their position is highlighted is when the Queen addresses the Queen's Spider along with the Watchdog to solve a series of cases where young newly wed women are being burnt up.^[1]
